When it comes to exceptional kids, few have more points in the quirks department than Zach. Zach has a combination of verbal Apraxia, an oral motor speech disorder and to show this he is drawn without a mouth and ADHD.  Jack’s inability to verbally communicate often creates barriers for him, but readers will have no problem tapping into his creative mind and exploring his unique perspective on things by communicating to his audience through thought balloons.

 

He is a sports fanatic, and his favorite activity is playing a game of good old baseball. Ironically, Zach can speak pig (yes pig) where he uses a series of snorts, squeals, and oinks... 'The Language Of Pigs,' to communicate with his best friend (and pet) Ziggy, a pot belly piglet adopted by the family that has grown to become a true family member.
